Squirt 93 (A/C Gottschall) responded just before 4am to assist Midway Volunteer Fire Company and many mutual aid companies on a house fire this morning. Despite heroic efforts by many crews on scene, a man tragically lost his life in the fire. Hartsville crews were on scene for over 4 hours assisting with fire suppression and overhaul of the residence.
