When: July 7, 14, 21 & 28th.
Where: Hartsville Fire Station
Time: 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM
Who: anyone 14 years of age or older who wants to learn about being a firefighter.
The program is a joint effort by all of the fire stations in Warminster, Warrington & Warwick Townships to introduce young people to the Fire Service. Participants will learn many things including: fire safety, hose rolls, carries and packing; fire hydrant operations, fire extinguisher operations, deluge gun operations, self contained breathing apparatus, pump connections, and many other basic skills.
This is a hands-on program that will teach individual skills as well as team skills. The final night of the program will feature a simulated fire with all attendees responding on the fire truck.
If you have ever considered becoming a volunteer firefighter or if you are considering a carrier in emergency services, this is your chance to try it out! Free camp T-Shirts for all attendees.
