On February 20th, Hartsville Responded with Warminster Fire Department and multiple mutual aide departments to a reported dwelling fire at the corner of St. Charles Ave. and Park Heights Ave. Chief 29 (Warrington) arrived on scene with a working fire and established command. Engine 93 (Lt. Kirchner) arrived and assisted Engine 78 (Warrington) with fire attack. Squirt 93 (A/C Ardiff) arrived, established a secondary water supply and started exposure protection on the Charlie side. Multiple vehicles were involved in the backyard and live power lines were down in the side yard hindering the fire attack operations. Mutual aide departments continued to arrive and provide assistance. Special Service 93 was also on scene to assist. Crews from Hartsville, Warminster, Warrington, Warwick, Horsham, Willow Grove, Hatboro, Central Bucks EMS, and Warminster PD were on scene for almost 3 hours. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation by the Warminster fire marshal. |
