At 1946hrs, HFC, along with Engine and Ladder 90, responded to a reported dwelling fire in the area of Boxwood Dr and Dahlia Rd. Deputy 93 arrived to find smoke coming from a house on the corner of Boxwood Dr and Dahlia Rd. Neighbors confirmed that the residents were not home. Chief 93 arrived and established Dahlia Rd Command with Deputy 90. Squirt 93 arrived and laid a supply line from a hydrant to the dwelling. Upon entering the dwelling crews quickly extinguished a fire in the living room. Crews from Engine 93 and Ladder 90 completed a search of the residence and confirmed that no one was home and that the fire had not extended past the living room.

There were no injuries to civilians or firefighters. Unfortunately several cats did not survive.

The Warminster Township Fire Marshall is investigating the fire.
