Just before 10am on Thursday March 14th, tactical box 93-27 was dispatched for the 600 block of Cheryl Drive for a dwelling fire. Responding units were advised of multiple calls to 911 for fire from the house. First arriving chiefs Battalion 92, Chief 95 and FM 274 confirmed the report of fire showing and established Cheryl Drive command. Squirt 93 (Capt. Ardiff) connected to a nearby hydrant and established a water supply. The crew of Squirt 93 stretched a hose line for fire attack. Crews from ladder 90 performed a search of the dwelling, ventilated, and assisted in checking for extension. Mutual aid crews from Hatboro, Warrington, Warwick, Willow Grove, Horsham, and Central Bucks EMS were all on scene to assist. Crews had the fire under control within 30 minutes. All crews cleared the scene before noon.
