On January 18th just after lunch, crews were dispatched to a fire alarm at the Steak and Shake on the 300 block of Street Rd. Shortly after dispatch, responding crews were advised that the assignment was being upgraded to a building fire due to smoke in the store. Squirt 93 (Lt. Kirchner) responded with crews from Warminster, and surrounding mutual aid departments. First arriving crews found a small fire in the wall and extinguished it with a single hose line. Crews were on scene for just over an hour. The store was closed and the fire marshals office is handling the investigation.
